- How FADC Checks Programs
Cautious matches. Clear reasons. Official next steps.
FADC is a navigation tool, not a government decision-maker. The Roadmap compares broad answers with reviewed program information and keeps uncertainty visible.
From an answer to an explainable result.
- 1
You give broad answers
The questionnaire asks about location, household, income ranges, life circumstances, urgency and document readiness. It does not ask for exact identifiers or document uploads.
- 2
FADC checks relevant rules
The matching engine compares only the question fields a program rule needs. Conditions that do not apply stay out of the decision.
- 3
Uncertainty stays visible
An unanswered or uncertain detail does not become a yes. It is shown as something to confirm before relying on a program.
- 4
Actions are organized
The Roadmap orders a best next move, three useful starting points, shared documents and official links.
Match categories are not approval likelihood.
Strong match
Your answers appear to match the main rules we checked.
May match
One or more details still need checking.
Worth checking
We need more information.
Probably not a match
One published rule does not match an answer you gave.
Official information remains the final reference.
Program records carry their source, last review date and official link. FADC can withhold information that no longer passes its source checks. A link or criterion may still change between reviews, so the official program page always wins.
- ✓ Named official source
- ✓ Review and link-check dates
- ✓ Explainable matched and unknown rules
- ✓ No invented approval percentage
Important boundaries
- FADC does not guarantee eligibility, approval, benefit amounts, deadlines or service availability.
- The library does not claim to contain every Canadian program or local service.
- FADC does not provide legal, tax, financial, immigration or medical advice.
- Call 911 for immediate danger or a medical emergency. Contact 211 for broader community-service navigation.
